Basically, things we love, that we know you’ll love!!!

What should you try to eat? (With our favourite flavours!)

For most traditional Polish food we would recommend you try and find a BAR MLECZNY (Milk Bars). These are food bars with cheap Polish food, and usually found in every city. These small bars stemmed from the communist era providing Polish cuisine at low cost.

How much to tip when you eat out?

10% is standard

Some of our favourite dishes include:

Perogies

  • Savoury : Pickled Cabbage with Mushroom

  • Meat (shredded pork)

  • Ruskie - Cheese

Sweet: Blueberry with a sweet cream

Zapiekanki (Open Face Toasted Sandwiches)

Honestly, any & all

Zurek (Sour Soup with Sausage)

Great for hangovers! ;-)

Placki Ziemnaczane (Potato Pancakes)

Usually comes with a rich beef stew

Lody Kręcone (Soft Serve Ice Cream)

Authentic VS. Not Authentic

There are 2 versions of these and one is more elite than the other! The easiest way to tell is by the amount of swirls. The more swirls the better tasting & authentic ice cream swirl !

Paczki (Filled Donuts)

Bueno, Pistachio, Rhubarb, Poppyseed, Rose Jam
